Internal Sales Executive
Based: Lancashire
Starting salary: £16K + commission (£3K per annum realistic) + benefits
Our Client is a well established manufacturer and importer of cable, wire and accessories who have been trading for well over 100 years. With an extensive customer base, they are well known for their quality and attention to customer detail, whether that be for the design of a bespoke product, a competitive price or an on time delivery.
Due to their continued success they are presently seeking to recruit an additional person to join their internal sales team.
Duties will include the development and cultivation of existing business, including order taking / upselling, identifying opportunities, launching new products to clients and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for cold calling and developing new business, utilising your developing knowledge of the market sector, its products and your competitors. There will also be some administration work, including information capture, database cleansing and producing reports for management.
Suitable candidates will possess internal sales experience gained within a business to business environment, and an individual who is motivated by achieving targets whilst also providing excellent customer service. Experience within or knowledge of the cabling or electrical wholesale industry would be an advantage. You should also have a minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths & English and demonstrate good basic computer literacy on Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
This is initially a temporary role, which will be made permanent on successful completion of a 12 week probationary period worked via the agency.
